Gorgeous, friendly, calm Thoroughbred named Nester. Was rescued originally from racing a few years ago from a lady who had to move. I purchased him Oct. 2006 because she needed an home for him at the time. I would love to find him a home where he can be a pasture pal or have a pasture pal with him (pony, goat, other horse, etc.) He loves all people, esp. children. Great child’s horse. He is very sweet, gentle, and kind. Very tolerant to all noises and situations. Clips, bathes excellent. Very good with vet and farrier. Does have a abscess that is heeling on front left hoof. He was 100% sound and ridden daily before the abscess, when it is healed he will make a great trail horse. Knows vocal commands (walk, trot, canter, back) and leg cues. Very responsive. Lounges well too. I have used English and western tack, is great with both. Also loves to be ridding bareback. Up to date on shots and worming. Nester just wants to be loved by a new, permanent family who has a lot of time to spend with him and give him the care/love he deserves and longs for. Asking only $400 or an offer as my main goal is to find him a good home. Photos avail. upon request.
